Introduction to Holistic Nutrition

Welcome to how2connect.com's holistic nutrition portal. Holistic nutrition facilitates wellness by joining food with a broad understanding of lifestyle factors. This perspective of nutrition customizes dietary changes to your needs, stressors, lifestyle habits, and more. Having been in this field for nearly 20 years, I have seen what happens when a person tries to follow the “in" diet, a generic dietary plan, or even a friend’s well-meaning advice. Each person is unique, with individual conditions and symptoms. We will provide you with personalized, cost-effective tools to prevent health problems and treat your existing conditions effectively.

Can you remember your last personal health goal? What factors contributed to your success? What obstacles stood in your way? Now imagine you have someone to facilitate your healing in a lasting and meaningful way. This person listens to what has worked for you in the past and utilizes it in the present. This is the role of a holistic nutritionist: to make food and even change successful and fun!

Holistic nutritionists use the whole person as a guide to address symptoms. They will help you take small steps toward health with personal goals in mind. Good health is like a marathon. You can’t reach the finish line unless you take one step at a time. Our team approach provides all kinds of information and support to make your goals a reality. Specific topics offered in this section include:

  • Education about where your food comes from
  • Tips for grocery shopping and reading food labels
  • Information about supplements and herbs
  • Recipes plus meal and menu ideas
  • Women’s and men’s health tips
  • Nutrition through the life cycle
  • Food allergies and sensitivities
  • Meals for families with discerning tastes
  • Healthy eating for people on the go
